ANZ and CEFC Invest Additional $150M in Energy Efficiency for Australian SMEs
ANZ and CEFC have committed an additional $150 million to facilitate access to discounted financing for energy-efficient investments in Australian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This funding aims to enhance productivity and reduce energy costs through the ANZ Energy Efficient Asset Finance Program.

ANZ and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) have announced a $150 million increase in funding for Australian SMEs to invest in energy-efficient technologies, which includes electric vehicles and solar energy systems. This funding is part of a broader initiative where both ANZ and CEFC contribute to a total finance discount of 0.8% per annum, aimed at alleviating the financial barriers associated with adopting energy-efficient equipment.
Since 2017, over 1,600 businesses have benefited from more than $444 million provided through this partnership. The total investment by CEFC in this program now reaches $600 million. The initiative is expected to help businesses manage rising costs while enhancing operational efficiencies and sustainability efforts.
