APECO to Promote Investment in US for Film, Defense, and Logistics Projects Starting March 2026
The Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) will enhance its investment promotion efforts in the U.S. starting March 2026, targeting film, defense, and logistics projects. Missions will include visits to major film studios in California and discussions on developments like a P2 billion film studio in Bulacan and investments in Texas. APECO president Gil Taway noted that several projects are nearing realization, contingent on approvals for necessary agreements.

The Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) is enhancing its investment promotion efforts in the United States, with missions planned for Washington, D.C. and California's West Coast starting March 2026. APECO aims to attract media production projects to the Aurora province, following discussions held in 2024 in Texas and Virginia.
The itinerary includes visits to major film studios in Burbank, California. The agency is also pursuing developments such as a P2 billion film studio project in Bulacan and other investments in Houston, Texas.
APECO president Gil Taway indicated that projects like Anglicotech are nearing realization, while Pacific Impact's project awaits approval of a power purchase agreement with the Aurora Electric Cooperative. Following this approval, a lease agreement with APECO will be signed, leading to groundbreaking.
