Applied Research Associates (ARA) has obtained a $111.5 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, focusing on support for the Center for High Performance Computing.
The contract includes engineering, technical support, and development of cryptographic capabilities, structured as a cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-only award. A concurrent task order worth $14.6 million could rise to $44.6 million, with work to be completed by May 2027 at the NRL facility in Washington, D.C.
Funding includes various fiscal 2026 defense RDT&E and procurement funds. ARA's recent contract history includes a five-year $48 million Navy project and participation in a $249.7 million IDIQ contract for unmanned systems.
