Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) has obtained a 10-year marine services contract for Argentina's inaugural LNG export to India. This project, with an investment of USD 70 million, positions Argentina as a significant LNG supplier to India, set to commence operations by September 2027.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ) has finalized a 10-year contract for marine services in support of Argentina's first liquefied natural gas (LNG) export to India. This contract was awarded to APSEZ's subsidiary, The Adani Harbour International FZCO, in partnership with Meridian Group following a competitive tender by Southern Energy S.A.
(SESA). The consortium is tasked with providing full marine services for the Southern Energy FLNG project, including tugboat operations and offshore logistics, supported by multiple vessels. This project is anticipated to yield 2.45 million tonnes of LNG annually, marking Argentina's initial operational LNG export project, with commercial activities expected to start in September 2027. The advancement of this project could enhance energy trade corridors between South America and India, potentially influencing global LNG markets.
