Arakan Army Attacks Vessel Transporting Equipment for Paletwa-Zorinpui Project
On November 30, the Arakan Army attacked the Marine Princess, a landing craft transporting heavy machinery for the Paletwa-Zorinpui Project. The incident underscores escalating violence that threatens vital infrastructure projects in Rakhine State.

The Arakan Army (AA) attacked the Marine Princess on the Kalatan River, seizing crew members' cell phones and approximately Ks 300,000 in cash. The vessel had previously arrived in Kyauktaw Township on November 25 and was en route to Paletwa when it experienced engine failure, halting near Mrauktaung village.
The attack occurred shortly after the vessel resumed its journey on the morning of November 30, resulting in damage to the ferry and bulldozer equipment. The military reported that the transport of heavy machinery was unauthorized by security forces, highlighting a pattern of AA attacks aimed at disrupting regional infrastructure projects.
