Argent LNG, LLC and Tecnimont S.p.A. have executed a term sheet to establish a strategic framework for Tecnimont's involvement in the Argent LNG export project at Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The agreement aims to align engineering execution and development as the project progresses through front-end engineering and design (FEED), regulatory permitting with the U.S.
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and toward a final investment decision (FID). The modular LNG export facility is designed to enhance scalability and reduce capital requirements. The project utilizes technologies from companies like Baker Hughes and Honeywell UOP, aiming to minimize risk and improve execution certainty.
