Arif Niaga Resources showcased a 4×4 infantry combat vehicle developed with Dongfeng Mengshi at DSA 2026 in Kuala Lumpur. This vehicle aims for 60% local assembly, enhancing Malaysia's defense capabilities while supporting infantry units.

Arif Niaga Resources presented its 4×4 infantry combat vehicle at the Defence Services Asia exhibition in Kuala Lumpur from April 20 to 23, 2026. The vehicle was developed in partnership with Dongfeng Mengshi, incorporating technology transfer.
Initial procurement phases will involve sourcing components from China for local assembly in Malaysia, with a goal of achieving 60% localization in future stages. The vehicle has a payload capacity of 1,800 kg and is equipped with a modular weapon mount.
Trials were conducted with the Malaysian military in September 2025, and a formal tender is expected later in 2026. The vehicle is intended to complement, not replace, the existing Gempita fleet.
