ARM Institute Launches Call for Military Supply Chain Technology Projects
The ARM Institute has issued a project call for its members to develop technologies and workforce solutions for the organic industrial base (OIB) to modernize military supply chains. The call focuses on real-time manufacturing sensors, reduced operator exposure, lower operational costs, non-traditional product pilot lines, and mobile automation. Projects must be endorsed by OIB leaders and are due by October 1. A webinar will be held on February 19 to clarify submission processes.

The ARM Institute has opened a project call for its members focused on modernizing the organic industrial base (OIB) for military supply chains. This initiative, supported by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Manufacturing Technology, seeks proposals that address technical innovations and workforce solutions in areas such as real-time robotics sensors, reduced operator exposure, and mobile automation.
Endorsements from OIB site commanders are required for submissions, which must demonstrate existing relationships with OIB facilities. The deadline for project submissions is October 1, with a webinar scheduled for February 19 to provide guidance on the proposal process.
