Army Apprehends Terror Associate with Foreign-Made Pistols in Rajouri, J&K

DEFENSE

Sachin Kumar, a resident of Sair village near the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, was apprehended by the army late on Wednesday night. Two foreign-made pistols—one from Turkey and another from China—were seized, along with four magazines and 15 rounds of ammunition.

Kumar allegedly received the consignment from across the border and was tasked with delivering it to another individual. A case has been registered, and further investigations are being conducted to trace the wider cross-border network. Concurrently, security forces have initiated a search operation in the Marlog and Lodra forests in Udhampur district following reports of three suspected terrorists in the area.
