Army Reserve Utilizes Huntsville Center Program for Unified Energy Data Management
The Army Reserve is improving energy data management through the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville's Energy Division, with contractor Alexandra Pitts serving as a resource efficiency manager. Pitts coordinates the Enterprise Building Control System (EBCS) to enhance energy resilience across the Reserve's extensive facilities, conducting site visits to ensure compliance and functionality of energy management software. Her initiatives aim to streamline energy use for over 200,000 personnel across more than 40 million square feet of building space.

The Army Reserve is enhancing energy data management across its network of automated facilities through the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville's Energy Division. Contractor Alexandra Pitts serves as a resource efficiency manager, linking the Reserve's energy control system.
With over 200,000 personnel and more than 40 million square feet of building space, the Army Reserve prioritizes energy resilience. Pitts, who joined the REM program in 2024, coordinates the Enterprise Building Control System (EBCS) and ensures compliance and functionality of energy management software.
Her role involves site visits across the continental U.S. to assess JACE devices and utility meters, maintaining coordination among various stakeholders. Pitts holds a bachelor's degree in energy management and has earned certifications including Certified Energy Manager (CEM). Her efforts aim to streamline energy use across Army Reserve locations.
