Arone Partners with IMT to Establish Nigeria's First Defense and Tech Manufacturing Hub in Enugu
Arone is launching a ₦12.95 billion partnership with the Institute of Management and Technology to create Nigeria's first tech manufacturing plant in Enugu. The facility will focus on defense, aerospace, robotics, AI, and renewable energy over four years, aiming to produce 5,000 drones and 30,000 energy systems annually while training over 20,000 students. Arone's innovations include autonomous drones for healthcare and modular solar energy systems to address Nigeria's energy challenges.

Arone is partnering with the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu, Nigeria, to create the country's first tech manufacturing hub focused on defense, aerospace, robotics, AI, and renewable energy. The partnership involves an investment of ₦12.95 billion ($9.52 million) over four years, targeting production of 5,000 drones and 30,000 modular energy systems annually, while training over 20,000 students. Arone has developed autonomous drones for medical supply delivery and modular solar systems to address energy shortages, aiming to enhance Nigeria's technological independence and manufacturing capabilities.
