ASIO Technologies Secures US Contract for NOCTA Autonomous UAV Navigation Systems
Israeli startup ASIO Technologies has won a multi-million-dollar contract from a US defense prime to supply NOCTA autonomous navigation systems for UAVs. The NOCTA system, designed for GPS-denied environments, has over 10,000 operational hours and is already used by the Israeli Defense Forces. The contract addresses the growing demand for assured positioning and navigation technologies amid increasing electronic warfare threats.

ASIO Technologies has secured a multi-million-dollar contract from a leading US defense contractor to provide several hundred NOCTA autonomous optical navigation systems for an American UAV program. The NOCTA system, capable of operating in GPS-denied environments, is designed for small UAVs and offers drift-free navigation using optical sensing.
It has accumulated over 10,000 operational hours, including use in Operation Roaring Lion by the Israel Defense Forces. The system supports various missions and integrates with sensors like LiDAR. The contract highlights the operational need for reliable navigation solutions in the face of electronic warfare threats and reflects ASIO's growing presence in the US defense market.
