Aspen Midstream has finalized its investment decision for the Katy Hub facility, aimed at enhancing natural gas connectivity to Gulf Coast markets, set to finish by Q1 2027. The project will support up to 3 Bcf/d of capacity and is backed by long-term contracts, positioning Aspen to meet increasing energy demands effectively.

Aspen Midstream, LLC has confirmed a final investment decision for the Aspen Katy Hub header facility, which will enhance bi-directional natural gas connectivity in Katy, Texas. This facility is projected to deliver approximately 3 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of capacity upon completion in Q1 2027, supported by investment grade shippers through long-term contracts.
The project will feature new compression and both low- and high-pressure header systems. This expansion is significant as it links domestic supply to the growing LNG, power, and industrial markets along the Gulf Coast, addressing rising energy demands.
