ASRC Federal and ATCO Win $596 Million USAF Contract for Alaska Radar System Operations

ARCTEC Alaska, a joint venture of ASRC Federal and ATCO, has been awarded a 10-year contract worth approximately $596 million by the U.S. Air Force to operate and maintain the Alaska Radar System (ARS).
Starting in September 2026, the contract covers 15 long-range radar sites and two radio sites at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, ensuring operational support and facility maintenance. This contract continues ARCTEC's support of the ARS, established in 1994, which is essential for national security and civil aviation, providing surveillance to NORAD and the FAA.
