Atlas Core Signs 20-Year CNG Infrastructure Deal with Oyo State, Nigeria
Atlas Core Energy & Logistics has signed a 20-year agreement with the Oyo State Government to establish compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling infrastructure, including a station at the Pacesetter Transport Service depot in Ibadan. This initiative aims to support the Nigerian government's goal of converting one million vehicles to CNG by 2027, thereby reducing gasoline dependence and transportation costs. The partnership aligns with President Bola Tinubu's CNG initiative and follows similar efforts in Lagos and Kano.

Atlas Core Energy & Logistics has entered a 20-year partnership with Oyo State Government to develop compressed natural gas (CNG) refueling infrastructure. The firm will build a CNG station at the Pacesetter Transport Service depot in Ibadan, servicing 50 existing CNG buses and facilitating broader fleet conversions.
This initiative supports President Bola Tinubu's CNG initiative aimed at reducing gasoline dependence and lowering transportation costs. Nigeria's government plans to convert one million vehicles to CNG by 2027 to meet net-zero emissions goals by 2060. Atlas Core's partnership follows similar initiatives in Lagos and Kano, focusing on competitive pricing and reliable gas supply chains.
