Auria, a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital, has acquired RKF Engineering Solutions and Kythera Space Solutions to expand its satellite communications capabilities. The acquisitions aim to support the delivery of an end-to-end platform for managing the command, control, and communications (C3) lifecycle, including space assets and ground systems.

Auria has previously partnered with both companies for U.S. Space Force projects. RKF, based in Bethesda, Maryland, provides satcom engineering and spectrum management platforms, while Kythera offers a software suite for autonomous management of satellite payloads.

Auria's focus is on C3 software and systems for space operations and missile defense. Auria was formed in early 2024 through the merger of four companies in Enlightenment Capital's portfolio.
