AeroVironment and CAL Analytics announced the operation of a BVLOS airspace management facility at Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport, Ohio. The installation integrates AV_Halo COMMAND with CAL Analytics' AAM platform, allowing safe BVLOS missions in shared airspace using FAA radar feeds.

Developed under a CRADA with the Air Force Research Laboratory and Ohio Department of Transportation, the facility aims to support flight tests and real-time monitoring. Plans to extend the system to connect Springfield and Columbus are underway, pending FAA approval.
