Azad Engineering Advances Aerospace Manufacturing with 'Make in India' Initiative
Azad Engineering Ltd. is enhancing its role in the aerospace sector by assembling entirely Indian-made engines and components. The company's strategy includes localizing raw materials and expanding its manufacturing capabilities to support domestic and international aerospace demands.

Azad Engineering Ltd., based in Hyderabad, is positioning itself as a significant player in the aerospace supply chain, showcasing its capabilities at Aeromart Hyderabad. The company has produced approximately 4.5 million aerofoils and is currently qualifying under major aerospace clients like Rolls-Royce and Pratt & Whitney.
Azad Engineering is assembling a complete engine for GTRE, expected to ship in three weeks, contributing to the Indian defense ecosystem. Their project, Azad Super Alloys, aims to localize raw material production. This initiative aligns with the Indian government's Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India campaigns, potentially reducing dependency on foreign suppliers and reinforcing domestic capabilities.
