Azerbaijan's Commission on the Implementation of Projects in Renewable Energy Sources held a meeting at the Ministry of Energy in Baku. Deputy Minister Elnur Soltanov discussed the advancement of renewable energy projects and their importance for energy security and export potential.

The session reviewed investment attraction strategies and strategic projects, including the operational 240 MW 'Khizi-Absheron' Wind Power Plant and 230 MW 'Garadagh' Solar Power Plant. Updates on green energy corridors and zones were provided, emphasizing their role in investment, job creation, and sustainable regional development.

Rustam Gasimov from 'Azerenergy' OJSC reported on the integration of renewable plants into the electricity grid. The meeting concluded with task assignments for the next session.
