BAE Systems has committed $135 million for facility upgrades in Austin, Texas, and Hudson, New Hampshire, aimed at enhancing U.S. military readiness. The investment is fully funded through the company's capital, with $85 million allocated for modernizing 65,000 square feet at the Hudson campus for advanced capabilities, and $50 million for manufacturing enhancements in Austin to support precision munitions production.
These upgrades will facilitate mission-critical Department of War and aerospace programs while creating new engineering and skilled jobs. The initiative reflects BAE's strategic focus on meeting evolving defense demands and reinforcing its support for the American workforce.
