Bahrain and U.S. Establish $17 Billion Economic Partnership
Bahraini and American companies have formalized agreements totaling approximately $17 billion to enhance economic collaboration. This partnership will advance sectors such as technology, aviation, and investment, significantly impacting both nations' economic growth prospects.

Bahraini and U.S. firms have signed agreements valued at around $17 billion, focusing on diverse sectors including technology and investment. Notably, Cisco Systems will enhance Bahrain's governmental digital infrastructure, while plans for an 800-kilometer multi-fiber submarine cable will improve connectivity with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq.
In return, Bahraini entities will invest $10.7 billion in the U.S., and the Mumtalakat sovereign wealth fund will allocate $2 billion to U.S. aluminum projects, emphasizing job creation. This partnership builds on a security and economic agreement signed in 2023, highlighting Bahrain's strategic role for the U.S.
