Baker Hughes to Supply 25 Generators for Boom Supersonic's AI Data Center Infrastructure
Baker Hughes has announced an order for 25 BRUSH Power Generation generators to be used at Boom Supersonic's AI data center infrastructure. These generators will complement Boom's 42-megawatt Superpower natural gas turbines, providing electricity for Boom's 1.21 gigawatt power commitment to its client, Crusoe.
This order builds on a previous 2025 agreement for six generators, totaling 31 units that will deliver 1.3 gigawatts of capacity. Deliveries are scheduled from mid-2026 to 2028. The BRUSH Power Generation DAX 7 units are air-cooled, and over 3,500 such units are installed globally. Boom's Superpower turbine stems from a design originally intended for supersonic flight applications.
