Bangladesh Army Chief Commends Nepal Army on 263rd Raising Day Celebration
General Waker-Uz-Zaman of Bangladesh praised the Nepal Army's role as a defense force and during natural disasters. He highlighted the strong relations between the armed forces of both countries and the need for enhanced collaboration. The event, hosted by the Nepalese Embassy for the Nepali Army's 263rd Raising Day, also featured remarks from Nepalese Ambassador Ghanshyam Bhandari and Military Attaché Brigadier General Anjan Keshar Khatri, emphasizing the army's commitment to national and global security.

General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of the Army Staff of Bangladesh, commended the Nepal Army as a 'wall of defence' against external threats and during natural disasters at a program hosted by the Nepalese Embassy for the Nepali Army's 263rd Raising Day. He expressed satisfaction with the strong relations between Bangladesh and Nepal's armed forces and the importance of future collaboration.
Nepalese Ambassador Ghanshyam Bhandari highlighted military cooperation, including exchanges and joint exercises. Military Attaché Brigadier General Anjan Keshar Khatri emphasized the army's role in safeguarding national sovereignty and contributing to global peace through UN missions. The event included various dignitaries and representatives from the Nepali community in Dhaka.
