Beechcraft 1900D Crashes in Northern Colombia, All 15 Onboard Killed

A Beechcraft 1900D turboprop aircraft crashed in northern Colombia, resulting in the deaths of all 15 individuals on board, including congressional candidate Diógenes Quintero. The flight, operated by Satena, lost contact with air traffic control shortly before midday while en route from Cúcuta to Ocaña.

The plane, carrying 13 passengers and 2 crew members, was later located in a rural area known as Curasica, Playa de Belén municipality. The Colombian air force and civil aviation authorities are conducting an investigation, with no survivors reported. The aircraft was operated by contractor SEARCA.
