Beihai Shipbuilding Delivers VLCC to Euronav and Advances Bulk Carrier Construction
Beihai Shipbuilding in China delivered the 319,000 dwt VLCC MENAPII to Euronav on March 23, nine months ahead of schedule. Between March 20 and March 24, the yard also initiated construction of two 210,000 dwt bulk carriers, floated out two additional bulkers, and laid keels for another pair. New projects include an LNG dual fuel bulker for MOL and a vessel with ammonia and methanol readiness for CITIC Financial Leasing and COSCO Shipping Bulk.

On March 23, Beihai Shipbuilding delivered the 319,000 dwt VLCC MENAPII to Euronav, the third of five vessels for CMB.TECH, and completed the delivery nine months ahead of schedule. From March 20 to March 24, the yard began construction on two 210,000 dwt bulk carriers, floated out two more, and laid keels for two additional bulkers.
Notable projects include an LNG dual fuel bulker for MOL and a vessel for CITIC Financial Leasing and COSCO Shipping Bulk, designed to be ammonia and methanol ready. On March 21, the yard floated out an LNG dual fuel bulker for EPS and an ammonia fueled bulker for CMB.TECH.
