Beijing Launches Pilot Platform for Large-Scale Production of Humanoid Robots
Beijing has launched a pilot platform for the large-scale production of humanoid robots at the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, featuring 500 sets of production and testing equipment with an annual capacity of 5,000 units. This initiative aims to address challenges in manufacturing readiness and standardization in the humanoid robotics sector, supported by government subsidies of up to 100 million yuan. The center also focuses on digitization to enhance production efficiency through a unified data platform.

The Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics has launched a pilot manufacturing and validation platform aimed at transitioning the humanoid robotics industry from small-batch prototyping to large-scale production. The facility, featuring 500 sets of production and testing equipment, has an annual capacity of 5,000 humanoid robots.
It offers services such as prototyping, performance validation, assembly, and testing. The launch addresses challenges in pilot manufacturing readiness and standardization in the global humanoid robotics sector.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology highlighted humanoid robots as a priority for faster platform construction. The Beijing government announced a support system for pilot testing platforms, with subsidies of up to 100 million yuan available. The center also emphasizes digitization through a unified data platform to enhance production efficiency.
