Bell Textron Secures First Bell 505 Firefighting Order in South Korea
Bell Textron Inc. announced a purchase agreement with South Korean operator EnB Air for a Bell 505 helicopter dedicated to initial attack firefighting missions. This order marks the Bell 505's entry into Korea's firefighting operations and enhances its role in aerial firefighting globally. The helicopter features advanced avionics and is designed for rapid response to contain fires before they spread, significantly aiding ground crews.

Bell Textron Inc. has signed a purchase agreement with EnB Air for a Bell 505 helicopter aimed at initial attack firefighting in South Korea. This marks the Bell 505's entry into the country's firefighting sector, enhancing its global aerial firefighting capabilities.
The helicopter, equipped with the Garmin G1000H NXi avionics suite, is designed for fast response to wildfires, allowing ground crews critical time to establish control. EnB Air previously ordered its first Bell 505 in 2024, and the Republic of Korea's Defense Acquisition Program Administration selected the Bell 505 as a military trainer in 2022. The Bell 505 has logged over 100,000 flight hours worldwide and is set to expand its firefighting operations further.
