BigBear.ai has acquired AskSage to enhance its generative AI capabilities for defense, aiming to secure government contracts amid rising US defense budgets. The US is allocating $70 billion for border protection and $673 million for biometric solutions, benefiting BigBear.ai.

AskSage's revenue is projected to increase sixfold this year. Dell Technologies is also capitalizing on the AI boom, with an 11% year-over-year revenue growth attributed to AI server sales, shipping over $15 billion in equipment and holding a record backlog of $18.4 billion.
