Bintulu Port Reports 35% Drop in 4Q Profit to RM26.56 Million Amid Higher Costs
Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd reported a profit after tax of RM26.56 million for 4QFY25, down 35.04% year-on-year due to increased costs. Operating revenue rose 0.56% to RM221.19 million, driven by stronger contributions from Samalaju Industrial Port. The full financial year 2025 PAT was RM121.89 million, with a single-tier dividend of five sen per share. Kenanga Research anticipates stable LNG cargo throughput supported by demand from Japan, South Korea, and China.

Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd's profit after tax for 4QFY25 fell to RM26.56 million, a decline of 35.04% year-on-year, primarily due to increased salary-related, repair, maintenance, and administrative costs. Despite this, operating revenue increased 0.56% to RM221.19 million, bolstered by Samalaju Industrial Port's revenue growth.
For the full year, PAT was RM121.89 million with EBITDA at RM419.66 million. The group declared a dividend of five sen per share, totaling 15 sen for FY2025. Kenanga Research projects stable LNG throughput due to ongoing demand from Asian markets.
