Bittium Expands Tactical Communications Network in Croatian Armed Forces

Bittium is expanding its tactical communications solutions within the Croatian Armed Forces, specifically for the Air Force's ground-based communications. This deployment is part of a modernization effort that began in 2022, facilitated by a four-year framework agreement with IntellByte INFO and the Croatian Ministry of Defence.
The project includes the integration of Bittium Tactical Wireless IP Network™ (TAC WIN) and Tough SDR Vehicular™ radios, valued at approximately EUR 1.9 million. The phased rollout ensures compatibility with existing systems while enhancing operational readiness and joint military operations.
The Tough SDR radios support real-time situational awareness, improving tactical effectiveness and connectivity across various military branches. This advancement underscores the potential for enhanced interoperability among NATO forces.
