BMT Opens Digital Innovation & Simulation Centre in Fareham for Naval Training Support
BMT is launching a Digital Innovation & Simulation Centre (DISC) in Fareham, UK, to enhance simulation and digital assurance for the UK defence sector. The facility includes advanced simulators, a Remote Operations Centre, and immersive technologies to support synthetic training methods. It utilizes proprietary technologies like REMBRANDT and MASS SEAS for various training applications. The centre aims to assist military services in transitioning to synthetic environments, and BMT plans to replicate the model internationally.

BMT is opening a Digital Innovation & Simulation Centre (DISC) at its Fareham site in the UK, focusing on advanced simulation and digital assurance for the UK defence sector. The facility features a Full Mission Bridge, multiple simulators, and one of the largest LED video walls in the UK.
It employs REMBRANDT and MASS SEAS technologies for training and compliance with marine regulations. The Royal Navy is enhancing its synthetic training initiatives, and DISC will support ongoing projects for autonomous vessels and operations training. BMT aims to replicate DISC as an operational model internationally.
