Boardwalk Pipeline to Connect Mississippi Gas Supply with Southeast Markets by 2029
Boardwalk Pipeline has approved the Kosciusko Junction Pipeline Project, which will add 103 miles of new pipeline in Mississippi by 2029, linking its Gulf South Pipeline system to the Texas Gas Transmission pipeline. This initiative aims to improve gas supply access for Southeastern markets, reducing dependency on Gulf Coast routes and impacting gas supply dynamics in southern Louisiana.

Boardwalk has finalized its investment decision on the Kosciusko Junction Pipeline Project, scheduled for completion in 2029. This project includes 103 miles of new 36-inch-diameter pipeline in Mississippi, connecting Boardwalk's Gulf South Pipeline system to its existing Texas Gas Transmission pipeline via the Greenville Lateral, along with an 8-mile lateral to Columbia Gulf Transmission at Inverness.
The Kosci Junction aims to enhance gas supply accessibility for Southeastern markets, reducing reliance on Gulf Coast pathways and mitigating competition with LNG. The integration of the Greenville Lateral and the CGT lateral will support this expansion and indirectly influence gas supply dynamics in southern Louisiana.
