Boaz Levy Appointed Chairman of Israel Aerospace Industries, a Historic Move
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) CEO Boaz Levy has been appointed chairman, marking a historic dual leadership role for a state-owned company. This strategic decision is aimed at enhancing military self-reliance and strengthening Israel's defense capabilities.

On May 13, Boaz Levy was appointed chairman of the board of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), in a first for a serving CEO of a state-owned entity. His dual role comes as Israel invests hundreds of billions of shekels to enhance military capabilities and self-reliance, according to Defense Minister Israel Katz.
Levy, who has led IAI since 2020, plans to expand security and business operations while fostering innovation. The appointment is expected to bolster IAI's contributions to Israel's economy and security, ensuring continuity in leadership during a pivotal time for national defense strategies.
