The U.S. Navy awarded Boeing a contract on March 13, 2026, for the AN/ALQ-264(V) Beowulf electronic warfare system for the EA-18G Growler, valued at $489 million. This system is designed to enhance the Growler's ability to detect, process, and disrupt adversary electronic emissions.
The contract encompasses engineering work, system integration, and hardware procurement, including A-Kits and B-Kits for installation. Major work will occur in Baltimore, Maryland (61%), followed by St.
Louis, Missouri (28%), and Bethpage, New York (11%). The contract obligates $33.99 million in fiscal 2026 funding, with development scheduled for completion by February 2030.
