BOW Secures £4 Million in Seed Funding for Robotics Software Development
BOW has successfully raised £4 million in seed funding, led by Northern Gritstone, to enhance its universal robotics software. This investment aims to reduce programming complexity and accelerate product development in a rapidly growing robotics market, projected to reach $260 billion by 2030.

BOW has closed a £4 million seed funding round, primarily led by Northern Gritstone, with participation from Finance Yorkshire and Praetura Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II. The investment comes after Liz Upton, Co-Founder of Raspberry Pi, was appointed Chair of BOW's board.
The funds will support BOW in addressing programming complexities that hinder robotics application development and enable interoperability among various robot types. The robotics market is expected to grow significantly, yet current programming challenges limit its potential. This strategic funding will enhance BOW's capabilities and accelerate its product innovations, positioning the company to capitalize on the industry's growth.
