Bowhill Engineering Secures $32 Million Contract for River Torrens to Darlington Project in South Australia
Bowhill Engineering, a Murraylands-based business, has been awarded a $32 million contract to fabricate over 660 steel tunnel segments for the River Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Project, the largest infrastructure initiative in South Australian history. The project will enhance the North-South Corridor and improve travel efficiency, bypassing 21 traffic lights. Monthly production of 40 segments, each weighing 10 tonnes, will commence in March, creating over a dozen local jobs. Bowhill Engineering has invested in advanced manufacturing equipment to support this effort.
