Following a successful data center transfer in 2022, card availability has increased to nearly 99%. BPC is addressing non-performing loans while supporting businesses affected by vandalism, with significant funding approved. The bank aims to strengthen its role in Angola's financial system through client-focused strategies.

Banco de Poupança e Crédito (BPC) is enhancing its presence across Angola, aligning with the country’s new political-administrative divisions. The bank is focusing on digital service expansion rather than opening new branches, recognizing the young demographic of the population.
BPC's modernization includes substantial investments in technology, addressing outdated systems and connectivity issues, leading to a rise in card operation success rates to nearly 99%. The bank also underwent a critical data center transfer in 2022, improving operational stability.
In terms of non-performing loans, BPC is restructuring older debts while managing a low default rate of 4% to 5% on new credits. Additionally, BPC has approved 32 billion kwanzas to support businesses impacted by vandalism, with 29 billion already disbursed. The bank's leadership emphasizes a commitment to regulatory compliance and aims to build trust as a cornerstone of its operations.
