Brad K. Morikawa Receives 2025 George S.B. Walters Shipyard Service Award at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard

Brad K. Morikawa was awarded the 2025 George S.B. Walters Service Award by the Honolulu Council of the Navy League for significant contributions at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard.
The award honors individuals exemplifying service in line with George S.B. Walters, who protected ships during the Pearl Harbor attack. Morikawa, who has worked at the shipyard for 12 years and transitioned from welding to supervision, was nominated for his leadership and team spirit.
The award was presented by PHNSY&IMF Commander Capt. Ryan D. McCrillis, marking the first time a worker from Code 920 has won.
