Brian Galiote has been appointed as the new president and CEO of JARI, effective February 16. He brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the defense and manufacturing sectors. Galiote succeeds Linda Thomson, who retired in June.

His role will focus on advancing economic development, innovation, and workforce growth in the region, particularly in Cambria and Somerset counties. JARI's board chairman, Jeff Stopko, expressed confidence in Galiote's ability to lead the organization during this critical time for the community.
