Broadcom and Carahsoft Secure $970 Million DISA Contract for Software Solutions Across DoW Agencies
Broadcom Inc. and Carahsoft Technology Corp. have been awarded a five-year, $970 million blanket purchase agreement by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This agreement aims to streamline software procurement for various Department of War agencies, providing uniform pricing and cost transparency for private cloud infrastructure and security solutions. The VMware Cloud Foundation platform will be central to this contract, which includes additional tools such as VMware vDefend and Broadcom's management solutions. The initiative seeks to enhance digital transformation across federal defense operations.
