Brugg Pipes Supplies Specialized Cryogenic Tubing for Rocket Test Infrastructure
Brugg Pipes AG is supplying flexible, vacuum-insulated cryogenic pipelines for a European aerospace company's rocket test infrastructure. The pipelines, each 185 meters long, connect a cryogenic fuel tank with a lower engine testing facility, designed to transport extremely cold media at temperatures down to -200 degrees Celsius. The project emphasizes precise manufacturing and rigorous quality assurance, enabling the use of new fuels like liquid methane for future propulsion systems.

Brugg Pipes AG is providing specialized cryogenic pipelines for a European aerospace company aiming to test new propulsion fuels, including liquid methane. The project involves two 185-meter-long flexible, vacuum-insulated pipelines that connect a cryogenic fuel tank to an engine testing facility.
These pipelines are engineered to handle temperatures as low as -200 degrees Celsius and include a redundant leakage monitoring system. The manufacturing process, executed in Wunstorf, Germany, produced single lengths of 90 and 95 meters to minimize connection points, enhancing installation efficiency and operational safety. The project also involved strict quality assurance and technical planning.
