BUA Group Signs 22 MW Power Plant Deal with Green Power International in Nigeria
BUA Group has signed a deal with Green Power International for a 22 MW gas-based power plant, establishing Green Power as its largest customer with a total capacity of 42 MW across two projects. The agreement, finalized on December 2, 2025, includes installations in Lagos and Port Harcourt, and supports BUA's commitment to cleaner energy in line with Nigeria's energy transition roadmap. Additionally, BUA is set to operationalize a 20 MW gas plant for its LNG facility by early 2026.

Earlier, in May 2025, BUA Group initiated a 20 MW gas plant for its LNG facility, set to be operational by early 2026. Both projects will utilize MWM's gas engine technology, supporting BUA's transition to cleaner energy sources in alignment with Nigeria's energy transition roadmap.
