Burkina Faso Launches Drone Training for Defense Forces
The Global BTP Drone Center has initiated a training program in Ouagadougou to enhance drone piloting skills for Burkina Faso's Defense and Security Forces. This initiative aims to improve operational capabilities and address security challenges, particularly in combating terrorism.

A drone training program commenced in Ouagadougou, focusing on enhancing the piloting skills of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS). The training, organized by the Global BTP Drone Center, is part of a partnership with the Ministry of Security and spans one week, incorporating both theoretical and practical components.
Topics covered will include regulations, navigation, and drone knowledge, with exercises conducted day and night. Participants, including members from the National Gendarmerie, are expected to apply their skills in surveillance, data collection, and thermal imaging, which are critical in the fight against terrorism. This effort is crucial in bolstering national security capabilities amid ongoing challenges.
