BZI Partners with Southern Utah University to Expand Youth Engineering Academy Impact
The SUU/BZI Youth Engineering Academy has engaged over 2,500 K-12 students since its inception in 2023. The program's expansion includes new curriculum areas and a sponsorship renewal for continued support over the next three years.

The SUU/BZI Youth Engineering Academy, a collaboration between BZI and Southern Utah University, has reached over 2,500 students since its launch in 2023. The program will continue for three more years with new curriculum offerings in areas such as public safety and health professions.
This summer, it provided eight weeks of immersive camps with hands-on learning experiences, including robotics and 3D printing. Notably, girls comprise over 34% of participants, exceeding current female representation in U.S.
STEM fields. The growth of this academy could help bridge the engineering talent gap in the marketplace, enhancing future workforce diversity in the industry.
