Cale Street Partners has acquired the Tour Hopen building in La Defense, Paris, amid increased vacancy rates and collapsing valuations in the area. The building was previously owned by a consortium led by Praemia REIM France. Vacancy rates in La Defense have surged to 31.8%, influenced by the rise of remote work and political instability in France. Other office towers, including Tour Europe, are also being marketed for sale, with expected bids below their previous valuations.

Cale Street Partners has taken control of the Tour Hopen building in La Defense, Paris, due to rising vacancy rates and declining property values. Previously owned by a Praemia-led consortium, the building's management has shifted to Generale Continentale Investissements.
La Defense's vacancy rate has reached 31.8%, as demand for office space shifts to central Paris, influenced by remote work trends and political uncertainties. Tour Europe is also up for sale, anticipated to attract bids under €170 million. Additional office towers owned by TotalEnergies SE are being offered as the company relocates.
