CALF Expands Fiber Network and Data Center Projects in Neuquén; NorthC Datacenters to Enhance AI Infrastructure in Europe
CALF plans to develop a new trunk line and a 6,600-kilometer fiber optic network in Neuquén, along with a Tier III data center. The expansion aims to address the demands of rapid urban growth. Meanwhile, NorthC Datacenters will enhance its AI inferencing capabilities in the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland through investment from Antin, acquiring six Colt facilities and constructing new data centers.

CALF is expanding its fiber optic infrastructure in Neuquén with plans for a new trunk line connecting Neuquén and Añelo and a 6,600-kilometer provincial fiber optic network. A Tier III data center is also in development to support the region's technological hub, addressing the challenges posed by rapid urban growth, with 30 families relocating weekly. Concurrently, NorthC Datacenters is set to enhance its AI inferencing capabilities across the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland, backed by a significant investment from Antin, which includes acquiring six existing Colt facilities and constructing new data centers focusing on high power densities and renewable energy.
