Canada Allocates $2.7M to Enhance NE Ontario Defense Sector
The Canadian government is investing $2.7 million to support defense initiatives in Northern Ontario, enhancing economic resilience and sovereignty. This funding will facilitate the growth of two companies in the defense supply chain.

The Government of Canada has announced a $2,700,909 investment through FedNor to support two defense-related projects in Northern Ontario. International Test Pilots School (ITPS) will receive $1.5 million to relocate its International Tactical Training Centre to North Bay's Jack Garland Airport, creating around 60 full-time jobs.
Meanwhile, SKADI Cyber Defense Corporation will obtain $1,200,909 for the development of its Frostbow™ AI Cyber Defense system. These initiatives aim to bolster Canada's defense capabilities and economic stability, addressing national security needs and promoting industrial growth.
