Canada Enhances Space Defense in Coordination with US Space Force
Canada is set to improve its space defense systems as part of the US Space Force's International Partnership Strategy. This collaboration targets threats from China and Russia, emphasizing interoperability and collective national interests.

Canada is aligning its space defense capabilities with the US Space Force's International Partnership Strategy, which aims to address threats from China and Russia. The strategy identifies three main objectives: securing national interests, ensuring interoperability among allied forces, and enhancing integration with partners.
To achieve these goals, Canada’s Defence Investment Agency must comply with interoperability standards established by the USSF. Additionally, the USSF aims to incorporate allied personnel into its operational planning. However, progress may be impeded by resource limitations and issues related to overclassification.
