Mark 'Oz' Geist, a retired Marine who was injured during the 2012 Benghazi attack, welcomed the capture of Zubayar al-Bakoush, a senior figure in Ansar al-Sharia, now in US custody facing murder and terrorism charges. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including two Navy SEALs.

Geist, who fought off the militants, still carries 16 pieces of shrapnel from his injuries. He now runs the Shadow Warriors Project, assisting veterans. Geist intends to attend Bakoush's trial, who was one of 20 militants involved in breaching the US Mission's gates in Benghazi.
