CENGN, CNIMI, and Ericsson Launch Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab
CENGN collaborates with CNIMI and Ericsson to establish an Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab, supported by a $45 million investment. This initiative aims to assist over 100 Canadian startups in validating AI, robotics, and sensor technologies for manufacturing applications.

CENGN has initiated a Living Lab partnership with CNIMI and Ericsson to bolster innovation in Canadian manufacturing. The Advanced Manufacturing Living Lab will be equipped with Ericsson Private 5G technology and will allow startups to validate their products in a real-world environment.
Funded by a $45 million contribution from the Federal Government's Strategic Response Fund, the initiative targets over 100 startups and scaleups, facilitating their transition to market readiness. The lab will focus on applications such as indoor positioning systems and autonomous robotics, positioning Canada as a leader in manufacturing advancements. This collaboration highlights the urgent need for industries to adapt to emerging technologies while reinforcing Canada's competitive edge in manufacturing.
